Taught master’s
We teach epidemiology and biostatistics in two medical and rheumatology-specific taught courses at the University.
These are delivered as part of the MSc Clinical Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine course designed for doctors who are aiming a career in rheumatology or a related subject.
We also organise and teach on the MRes Medical Sciences.
This course is taken by medical students after Year 3 or 4 of clinical training, with candidates usually selected from students admitted to the MBChB undergraduate courses at Manchester and the University of St Andrews. The choice of research projects is wide and not limited to any single specialty.
It is also open to medical students from other universities in the UK, as well as medical and dental graduates with medical research experience.
